JASON TAYLOR was the courageous leader of the original Starslyderz™. Code named Red Lion, Captain Taylor was also known as “Coach Taylor” to the town of Apple Grove, where he secretly worked as a high school gym instructor. With the help of three very gifted teenagers, Captain Taylor fought heroically for freedom and justice throughout the galaxy. The proud citizens of the United Planets of America eventually gave a name to this team of freedom fighters - the Starslyderz™! Together they prevailed through many action-packed adventures. Tragically, Captain Taylor was betrayed and murdered by the evil Gorgon and Mortikai.
